Kelley Addis participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She is a graduate of Florida State University with a BA degree in Theater. Favorite shows include Guys and Dolls (Miss Adelaide), Into the Woods (Jack's Mother), Dimly Perceived Threats to the System (Dr. Grey) and Oink!: When Pigs Die (Mistress Wolfe). Meg Anderson aka Kinetic Dust, has been a Performance Art Entity since 2001. Meg has mid-wived six evening-length original productions. Previous to these, she directed several plays including the Indiana University Production of The Vagina Monologues. Kinetic Dust is participating in the 2009 New Play Development Workshop as a Performance Artist.
veronica precious bohanan is a moonchild on an excursion to earth. A graduate of the University of Iowa, she earned a BA in Speech and Hearing Sciences and an MA in Social Foundations of Education. Her poetry can be found in Home Girls Make Some Noise!: Hip-hop Feminism Anthology and Check the Rhyme: An Anthology of Female Poets and Emcees. Om: My Sistagyrl Lotus is her first collection of prose and poetry.
Kimberly Boler participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. Kim is a graduate from the University of Southern MS with a BFA in Theatre Performance. Since then she has worked at various professional regional theatres. She finally managed to work her way to Chicago where she had a stint as Tina in "Tony & Tina's Wedding" and most recently a Demon in "Hello God, It's Me Satan." She wants to thank her parents who still support her even though she's one of those "Liberal Artsy People" and her hunky boyfriend.
Walter Briggs participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. Walter has worked as an actor with Hypatia, Mary Arrchie, The Goodman, Chicago Children's Theatre, and Chicago Shakes. He is currently in the BFA Acting program at Chicago College of Performing Arts. He is the current Box Office Associate of A Red Orchid Theatre and a founding member of The Inconvenience.
Julie Cowden participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She has been living and working in Chicago for over two years. Previous credits unclude Ruby Wilder (Not Waiting Productions), A Dream Play (The Mill), and The Magician (American Pastime Theatre). Julie is very much looking forward to participating in The Day of Knowledge at Stage Left Theatre.
Kevin Crowley participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. He discovered music and acting when he was seventeen and artistically flourished in both areas ever since. His intention is to make a living as an artist once he has finished his MFA training as an actor. He loves the theatre, film and music, and is eager to make whatever contributions he can to the world around him.
Page Deulin participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She is originally from Clearwater, FL. Page decided to move to Chicago when she was in the national tour of Babes in Toyland. She earned her BFA degree from Roosevelt University and was most recently in the production of Measure for Measure at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre Company. Page is currently working toward her licensure in clinical psychology.
Scott Dray serves as WTA's Executive Board Secretary/Treasurer and is facilitator of the annual Actors' Scene Showcase. Jessica Lauren East participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She hails from the nation's motor city and is a recent graduate of Northern Illinois University's BFA Acting program. She was last seen in "Intimate Apparel" with the Mill Theatre.
Kristen Edson is currently a librarian and has always had a strong interest in writing and performing. She is participating in the 2009 New Play Development Workshop as a playwright.
Liz Federico participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She is a California native who moved to Chicago from LA in January 2008. She is an actress and dancer who spent several years performing in Southern California. Liz currently works at Steppenwolf as the Theatre Management Apprentice as she prepares for a career as a theatre administrator.

Development Workshop and corresponding New Plays Festival in past years.
Megan Gotz participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She moved to Chicago in 2007 after graduating Florida State University with a BA in Theatre. Since then she has been seen in The Alycone Festival: The Massacre (Halcyon Theatre) as well as Gregor and the Squonk, House of Weird Death and Splintered Crosses with Tympanic Theatre COmpany.

Theatre Project, BooYa Productions and Noble Fool Theatre. She is currently facilitating the 2009 New Play Development Workshop, focusing on Sacred Theatre.
Sara Greenfield participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase and is participating in the 2009 New Play Development Workshop as an actress. Sara is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan, receiving a BFA in Theatre Performance. She has also studied at the London Academy of Dramatic Art. Some of her favorite past roles include Sarah in J.B., Beatrice-Joanna in The Changeling and Mae in The Wild Party.
Christina Hall participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase.
Ina Houston participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She recently performed Duck for President at Lifeline Theatre, where she also performed The Dirty Cowboy. Other Chicago credits include Portia in The Merchant of Venice with Bohemian Theatre Ensemble, and Disney's Aladdin with Emerald City Theatre COmpany. Most recently she performed in The Rotogravure at the Athenaeum Theater.
Brenda Kilianski has developed several plays through WTA's NPD Workshop including "A Histroy of Two Broads in Two Acts," "Battle of Anzio," and "Free Radicals" which received its world premiere in 2008 with Stockyards Theatre Project. She has found the NPD Workshop to be not only the most nurturing but also the most artistically productive venue for a playwright. Brenda is participating in the 2009 New Play Development Workshop as a playwright.
Margaret Lebron facilitated the 2008 New Plays Festival and is participating in the 2009 New Play Development Workshop as a director.
Stephen Lydic participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. He is proud to be an actor here in the City of Chicago going on six years now. A BFA grad from the University of Memphis, he has acted at Trap Door, Tony n' Tina's, Red Tape, American Eagle, Stage Left, and is currently performing with Ouroboros Theater. He is also a writer and has worked as a teacher with children from pre-K to 8th grade.
Susan Myburgh participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She is a recent graduate from Florida State University's Theatre School. Previous credits include Rabbit Hole (Izzy), Uncle Vanya (Sonya), The Birds (Inspector), Amadeus (Ensemble). She is also a company member of Typanic Theatre and recently directed their production of GREGOR AND THE SQUONK.
Catherine (Kitty) Nagler, after a 33-year corprate risk management career, obtained a Masters in Culture and Spirituality with a focus on Feminine Spirituality and the New Cosmology, presenting to regional audiences. She enjoys performing in community plays and exploring her creativity in many sundry ways. Kitty is participating in the 2009 New Play Development Workshop as an actress.
Caitlin Montanye Parrish is a Chicago based playwright and novelist. Her work has been seen Off-Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre, and regionally in Chicago and Portland. She is a visiting artist and lecturer at the University of North Florida and Centenary College. Her play Fuck Tori Amos will be published in Smith & Krauss' Best Ten-Minute Plays of 2008. Caitlin is participating in the 2009 New Play Development Workshop as a playwright.
Alex Polcyn participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase and is participating in the 2009 New Play Development Workshop as an actor. Alex is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a BFA in Theatre Performance. Some of his favorite roles include Nickles (J.B.), Green Dress (Lorca in a Green Dress), and Robbie (Shopping and F**king). He has performed internationally in the Apostrof Theatre Festival where he took home the award for best actor.
Bob Ross participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. He was born and raised in Jamestown, NY, where he studied acting in public school. Bob earned his BA in theatre from SUNY Brockport in 1998. He then earned an MFA in Theatre from Roosevelt University in 2002. His favorite roles include Howard in Picnic and Dodge in Buried Child.
Sandy Shea participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She began her Chicago acting career with Second City after graduating from Carnegie-Mellon University Drama School. Theatre credits include The Guthrie's "Infidelities," "Picnic" with Stahl Theatre, "The Dutchman" with Theater East, "Bluff" with Victory Gardens, and "Flyovers" with Victory Gardens. TV and Film include Chicago Hope, Alias, Moonlighting, and The Young and The Restless. Sandy is most proud of her role as Amanda's Mom.
Eric Damon Smith participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. Recent roles include Antonio in Merchant of Venice, Jafar in Aladdin, Signal Ensemble's 1776 and others. He is currently working on Malvolio in Twelfth Night and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.
Neal Starbird participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. He recently performed in "Chekov's Life in the Country" with Greasy Joan. Favorite roles in Chicago and Portland, OR include Lorca in "Lorca in a Green Dress", Mephistopheles in "Faust Us," Cupid in "Cupid and Psyche", Adam in "The Shape of Things," and Mike in "A Lie of the Mind."
Jen Usellis participated in the 2008 Actors' Scene Showcase. She spent 8 years in Minneapolis and is happy to be home in Chicago studying improv at iO. She can be seen performing around Chicago.
Erica L. Weiss is a director and dramaturg who works exclusively in new play development. Weiss was the founding Artistic Director of Hypatia Theatre Company, now The Hypatia Project, a theatrical partnership. For HTC, Weiss directed the world premiers of Lost Love as well as Caitlin Montanye Parrish's Red Georgia Clay, Florida Styx, and angels/angles. Erica has also worked with American Theater Company, Speaking Ring Theatre Company, Northlight Theatre, Chicago Dramatists, Stage Left Theatre and Victory Gardens. Erica holds a BFA in Theatre Studies from the Theatre School at DePaul University. Erica is participating in the 2009 New Play Development Workshop as a director.
camil.williams, Aqua, is a multifaceted artist that is constantly exploring herself. williams has appeared in several independent films and has performed at spoken word venues across the nation. She is also a painter and has showcased her work in various art exhibits around Chicago. Her lates endeavors include perfecting her skills as a musician in an all woman band and completing a screenplay. butta to fly is her debut collection of poetry and art, accompanied by a CD.
